Attorney William J. Hunt Receives Faculty Award from The National Institute for Trial Advocacy

Cambridge, Massachusetts – June 20, 2006
Clark, Hunt & Embry, the largest law firm based in Cambridge, announces that Partner and Co-Founder, William J. Hunt, has received the Honorable Robert E. Keeton Faculty Award from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA).  Mr. Hunt was one of only three award recipients for 2005.  He has taught trial advocacy for NITA throughout the world, and is Program Director for the Taking and Defending Depositions Program held in Boston each year.  Additionally, Hunt serves as instructor of Trial Tactics at Emory University and the University of San Francisco Law School.

NITA is a not-for-profit, continuing legal education institution, which is headquartered Louisville, Colorado.  NITA is a dedicated team of professors, judges and practicing lawyers who believe that skilled and ethical advocacy is a critical component of legal professionalism and all systems of dispute resolution that seek justice.

"It means a great deal to me to receive this award," said Hunt, who has been part of the NITA organization the mid 1980’s.  "NITA is comprised of some of the best trial lawyers in the country, and to receive this award is a true honor."

The inscription on Hunt’s plaque reads, "A lawyer of enormous talent and wisdom, you have long been one of NITA’s best and brightest.  As a teacher, your wisdom, delivered with precision, kindness, and good humor, has enriched your students as well as your colleagues.  The model of the ethical lawyer, you have taught each of us how to excel in the law with honor and professionalism by words and especially by deed.  Generations of the NITA family are better from our association with you.  We are forever grateful."
