Joshua D. Krell joined Clark, Hunt and Embry in July of 2000. Prior to joining Clark, Hunt and Embry, Mr. Krell was an Assistant Attorney General in the Insurance Fraud Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. Mr. Krell received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College in 1989, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law in 1992.
While in law school, Mr. Krell worked as an editor for the Territorial Sea Journal. Mr. Krell was admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Maine in 1992, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1994.
Mr. Krell is a seasoned litigator, with a primary emphasis on the representation of Chapter 766-approved private schools for students with special needs. His other areas of specialty include the representation of nonprofit organizations, disability rights, real estate litigation, insurance defense and subrogation. Mr. Krell is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Inn of Court, and serves as the Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee for Hope House (a post-graduate residential program of the Cotting School).
